Found in Borneo and Sulawesi in low and open dry forests on steep ridges on trunks and branches or on bare rock at elevations of 1300 to 2000 as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a creeping rhizome with .1 to .3" [.2 to .6 cm] between each ovate, slightly compressed pseduobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, thin, ovate leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, single flowered, 1.2" to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm] long inflorescence with a tubular floral bract carrying unscented flowers
