Found in northern Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations of 1500 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] between each , ovoid to cylindrical pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, linear-ligulateleaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 6 cm] long, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with rigid almost as long as the flowers floral bracts and carrying glabrous flowers.
