Common Name The Inquiry Bulbophyllum

Found in New Guinea in primary forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a pendulous rhizome with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each cylindrical, hardly flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, ovate to elliptic, acute apically, green strongly suffused with red, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on up to 4, pendulous, peduncle .2" [.5 cm] long, with 3 to 4 bracts, .48 to .52" [1.2 to 1.3 cm] long overall, rachis to .28" [.7 cm] long, successively single, to 6 flowered inflorescence with elliptic, acute to acuminate apically floral bracts and carrying scattered, moderately opening, yellowish white flowers.
