Found in Queensland, Australia in highland ridge forests on ridgetops on the upper branches of trees with excellent air movement at elevations of 1000 to 1250 meters as a warm growing epiphyte with semi-pendulous, sparsely branched stems with pale brown bracts carrying a single, apical, stalkless, large, broadly and shallowly grooved, elliptic, pale to dark green leaf that blooms in the spring on a very short, .72" [.35 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
