Common Name or Meaning The Lichen-Loving Bulbophyllum
Flower Size tiny
Found in northern and central Madagascar in mossy and lichen-rich forests at elevations of 800 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with very small pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, lanceolate-linear leaves that blooms in the mid summer on a setiform, provided with a small bract, single flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-acute floral bracts
CAUTION!!! I have no way of verifying this determination. References that I have refer the flower color to dark, dull red, but no drawing. Not a game changing factor but.....
Synonyms Bulbophyllum quinquecornutum H.Perrier 1937
