Common Name The Callus bearing Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 1/3" [8mm]
Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra in rainforest and in low and open kerangas foresta at elevations of 500 to 600 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping and branching rhizome with 2.8 to 4" [7 to 10 cm] between each, shortly conical, appearing squashed, round from above pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, erect, peduncle 2 to 6.6" [5 to 16.5 cm] long, provided with 5 to 6 bracts, wiry, brownish violet, rhachis not thickened, .56 to 4" [1.4 to 10 cm] long, glabrous, simultaneously many, 7 to 22 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, not clasping the rachis, purple, shorter than the ovary floral bracts
