Common Name The Long Mucronate Bulbophyllum [refers to the petals]
Flower Size .24" [6 mm]
Found in Sabah Borneo in lowland to wet mossy upper montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial on steep roadbanks with .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] between each, orbicular, not flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, rather thick, elliptic to obovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, erect, 8 to 10" [20 to 25 cm] long, 30 to 40 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts and flowers that are sometimes faintly fragrant flowers.
CAUTION!!! The plant habit is absolutely correct but details in the flowers such as length and shape of sepals and the shape of the lip leads me to be cautious with this determination!
