Found in Sabah Borneo moss and lichens on trees at elevations around 1930 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .2" [5 mm] between each erect, subglobose to ovoid, often somewhat angular, obtuse pseudobulb enveloped by a evanescent basal sheath soon becoming bristles and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, green, leathery, obtuse, unequally bilobed, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a from the rhizome at the base of the pseudobulb, erect, peduncle .88 to 1" " [2.2 to 2.5 cm] long, red brown, provided with 2 basal bracts, the inner one large and enveloping the peduncle, 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
