Common Name The Large Appendaged Bulbophyllum

Found in New Guinea in montane forests at elevations around 1800 to 2300 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] between each cylindrical, swollen basally psuedobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, acuminate leaf that blooms in the spring, summer and fall on a very short, provided with a few peduncle scales, single flowered inflorescence with very small, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
