Found in the Bismark Archipelago as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short rhizome with ,4" [1 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate, acuomnate leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, eduncle c. .72" [1.8 cm] long, provided with 3 bracts, 1.6" [4 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with tubular, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts
