Found in Malaysia, Sabah Borneo and Sulawesi in low, wet, open primary forests with dense undergrowth on twigs at elevations around 100 to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome and [.18 to .35 cm] between each ellipsoid, flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, rather thin, elliptic, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a scentless flower
