Common Name Manara's Bulbophyllum [Venezuelan Original Collector of Species 1900's]

Found in Venezuela and Minas Gerais State of Brazil on trees near rivers at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, deeply furrowed, quadrangular pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect lanceolate leaf that blooms in the later summer on a basal, erect, 6" [15 cm] long, several to 30 flowered inflorescence.
