Common Name The Marojejy Bulbophyllum [Nature Reserve in northern Madagascar]
Flower Size .16 to .2” [4 to 5 mm]
Found in Madagascar in lichen rich, evergreen forests on plateau at elevations of 1000 to 1600 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with conical-terete pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, linear leaf that blooms in the spring on a 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence
CAUTION The orchid in the photo is close to the species but has more flowers among other differences in the flower structure.
