Common Name The Millet-Like Bulbophyllum

Found in New Guinea at the foot of the range forest at elevations around 50 to 100 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a rhizome enveloped by dry sheaths and .6" [1.5 cm] in between each grooved, conical pseduobulb carrying a single, apical, linear, acute, gradually narrowed towards the base leaf that blooms in the fall with up to 6, basal, 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, much shorter than the ovary and pedice floral bracts.

The flowers are golden yellow to orange yellow
