Common Name The Millet-Like Bulbophyllum

Found in New Guinea at the foot of the range forest at elevations around 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte ovoid-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic-ligulate, minutely apiculate, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late fall on a basal, short, single flowered inflorescence with elliptic, apiculate, much shorter than the pedicellate ovary floral bracts..

The flowers are rose red, the lip pale yellow with red at the base and the petals are white with red spots
