Common Name The Membranous Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 1/4" [.6 cm]
Found in Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sulawesi, Sumatra, Papua and New Guinea, Solomon Islands Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu in lowland forests at elevations of sea level to 450 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with .2 to 2" [5 mm to 5 cm] spaced, conical-ovate pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, petiolate, broadly elliptic leaf that blooms on a subsessile, suberect, basal, single flowered inflorescence sometimes arising basally and often arising directly from the rhizome away from the pseudobulb.
