Found in Yunnan province of China on trees or rocks in forests in karst regions at elevations of 1100 to 1250 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with close set, conical pseudobulbs carrying 2, deciduous, apical leaf that blooms on an erect peduncle, longer than the leaf, rachis abruptly pendent,densely many flowered inflorescence .
