Found in the Philippines at elevations around 500 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with small pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, leathery, round apically , gradually tapering into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect to arching, slender, rachis 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, to 10" [to 25 cm] long, densely several to many flowered inflorescence with several, closely adpressed bracts and minute, triangular, acute floral bracts.
