Common Name The Stem-Like Pseudobulb Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .12" [3 mm]

Found in New Guinea on trees in range forests at elevations around 2000 to 3000 meters as a large sized, cold growing epiphyte with elongate, cylindrical, subacute pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic, acute, cuneate below into the base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a .48 to .68" [1.2 to 1.7 cm] long, lax, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.

The flowers are pale yellow.
