Found in Madagascar in humid, evergreen forests on plateau at elevations around 900 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with 1.6" [4 cm] between each cylindrical-conical pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, oblong-ligulate leaves that blooms in the later winter and early spring on an erect, rachis 2.8" [7 cm] long, 16" [40 cm] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence.
