Common Name or Meaning The Moss Clinging Bulbophyllum [refers to the habit of the orchid]

Found in Sarawak and Sabah Borneo on mossy tree trunks at elevations around 1800 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .28 to .92" [.7 to 2.3 cm] between each ovoid, hardly flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, rather distinct, ascending, ovate, acuminate, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, .24 to .32" [6 to 8 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular, acuminate floral bracts.
