Common Name Myola Bulbophyllum [An area in Papua and New Guinea]

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found in New Guinea as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to close set, minute, disc-shaped pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, eshy, rigid, obovate or obovate-elliptic, obtuse, shortly apiculate leaf that blooms on a 2.4" [6 cm] long, basal, single flowered inflorescence that is subtended by scarious, short, overlapping sheaths and holds the flower against the pseudobulb.

This species is hot to cool growing and needs to be potted in a loose medium and given deep shade, frequent waterings and good air movement.
