Found in Madagascar in lichen rich forests at elevations around 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with oblong-ovoid pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, oblong-ligulate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, very slender, longer than the leaves to 8" [to 20 cm] long, many flowered, inflorescence.
