Found in east northeastern Madagascar in forests on tree trunks burried in moss at elevations of 800 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a branching rhizome giving rise to applanate-oblong, with .12 to .28" [3 to 7 mm] between each, green, coarsely wrinkled pseudobulb carrying 2 apical, erect, linear-lanceolate, acute, subsessile to shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, .6 to .68" [1.5 to 1.7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying reddish flowers.
