Found in West New Britain Province of Papua New Guinea in rainforests at elevations of 240 to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a patent to pendulousa rhizome giving rise to distant, ellipsoid-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic to ovate, acute, abaxial surface corrugated, subsessile leaf that blooms in the winter on a porrect, peduncle to .2" [5 mm] long, with 2 scales, to .8" [2 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with a tubular, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bract and carrying nocturnally opening flowers without a discernable scent.
