Found in peninsular Malaysia, Java, Sarawak and Sabah Borneo in tall forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .24 to .8" [.6 to 2 cm] between each, distinct, obliquely erect, ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, obtuse, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, peduncle .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm] long, provided with 2 scales, 1.2 to 1.32" [3 to 3.3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
