Common Name The Sparsely Blooming Bulbophyllum

Found in the Moluccas, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on trees in forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with cylindical-conic, subparellel to the rhizome pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-ligulate, apiculate, cuneate below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, .2 to .35" [5 to 9 mm] long, laxly 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
