Common Name or Meaning Snake-Like Bulbophyllum

Found in east northeastern Madagascar in humid, evergreen forests on plateau at elevations around 900 to 1400 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with subcylindrical, 4 angled, yellow pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, lanceolate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, rachis 4.8 to 6" [12 to 15 cm] long, thickened, dull red, 20" [50 cm] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence.
