Found in Java and Sumatra in primary forests at elevations of 900 to 1600 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short creeping rhizome with .4" [1 cm] between each conical, furrowed pseudobulb and carrying a single apical, lanceolate, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a, arising from the rhizome, 1.6" [4 cm] long, erect, single flowered inflorescence
