Found in New Guinea in primary forests at elevations of 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate, filiform rhizome with 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm] between each, subglobose pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, obtuse to minuetly apiculate, attenuate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early winter on a basal, filiform, erect, .8 to 1.4" [2 to 3.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
