Flower Size .2" [5 mm] wide

Found in New Guinea in primary mist forests on large trees at elevations of 450 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .2 to .8" [.5 to 2 cm] between each ovoid to almost orbicular pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate to elliptic, acute to acuminate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring through earlier fall on a basal, erect to arching, 1.2 to 3.2" [3 to 8 cm] long, 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence with ovate floral bracts and carrying simultaneously opening flowers.
