Common Name The Ear-Shaped Lip Bulbophyllum

Found in Borneo on ridges in montane forests at elevations up to 1300 meters as a hot to cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .36 to .48" [.9 to 1.2 cm] between each distinct, ovoid, slightly flattened pseudobulbs and carrying a single apical, erect, rather thin, elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, 1.4 to 1.8" [3.5 to 4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts
