Found in Sulawesi along streams and on mountain slopes at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with 1 to 4.8” [2.5 to 12 cm] between each, distinct, close to erect, ovoid to cylindrical, non-angular pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate, acute-acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, .8 to 1.2” [2 to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.
