Found in Papua New Guinea in primary mist forests on large trees at elevations around 500 to 3300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cold growing epiphyte with 1" [2.5 cm] between each, oblong to oblong-cylindric pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, elliptic-ligulate, acute to acuminate, attenuate below into the base leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a very short, single flowered inflorescence.
