Flower Size .12" [3mm] wide 1/2" [1.25 cm] long

Found in Thailand around 1500 to 1600 meters in elevation as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with glossy, globular, dark green pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a few scarious sheaths and carrying 2 apical, dark green, acute, deciduous leaves that blooms in the winter often after the leaves fall on a basal, arching, 6 to 7.2" [15 to 18 cm] long, 20 to 25 flowered inflorescence with acute, longer than the ovary floral bracts.

Not to be confused with the former Cirrhopetalum pallidum which is now B purpurescens of the section Elatae
