Common Name or Meaning The Little Lute Shaped Bulbophyllum [refers to the lip shape]

Found in northern Madagascar in lichen, mossy forests at elevations of 1100 to 2000 meters as a mini-mniniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, elliptical, obtuse, attenuate at the base, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, [3 to 4.5 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with widely oval, acuminate floral bract.
