Found in Madagascar in lichen rich forests at elevations around 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with globose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblanceolate leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, erect, thin, .08" [2 mm] long, densely 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
