Common Name The Perpendicular Bulbophyllum [refers to the position of the leaves]

Found only in Sulawesi in montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a small to large sized, hanging, rope-like warm to cool growing epiphyte with a free-hanging, rope like rhizome with tiny hidden pseudobulbs beneath the brown bracts and each carry a single apical, lanceolate, acute, grey green leaf at a 90 degree angle to the next pseudobulb and leaf and blooms in the spring and fall on several to many, short, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence
