Found in Madagascar at elevations of 100 to 240 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, sub-globose pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, lanceolate-acute leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a very thin, filiform, 4" [10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
