Found in northern and east-north-east Madagascar in lichen rich montane forests at elevations around 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, narrowly lanceolate leaves that blooms in the early summer on an erect to suberect, slender, rachis slightly thicker, 6.2 to 8.4" [15.5 to 21 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with subacute, half as long as the pedicel floral bract.
