Found in Sikkim at elevations around 300 to 330 meters as a mini- miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with chains of globose to depressed globose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, fleshy, linear-oblong, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, basal, slender, shorter than the leaf, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, semi-globose capitulum.
