Found in Madagascar in woods with lichens at elevations around 1000 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with sub-globose closely set pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblanceolate to oblanceolate linear, acute to apiculate apically and attenuate petiolate basally leaf that blooms in the early summer on a 1" [2.5 cm] long, very thin, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence enveloped by 1 to 2 small sheaths and having oval-apiculate bracts that enveloping 1/2 the length of the pedicel.
