Found in Sulawesi in montane forests on tree trunks at elevations of 1900 to 2500 meters as a long-creeping, small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with 1.8 to 10.4” [4.5 to 26 cm] between each ovoid, distinct, obtusely 4 angled pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic-ovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below in to the .24 to .44” [.6 to 1.1 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, .8 to 2.2” [2 to 5.5 cm] long, single flowered or an elongated, lax, 2 to 5 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
