Common Name The Hairy Flowered Bulbophyllum

Found in Sulawesi in forests at elevations of sealevel to 1200 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 2 to 4" [5 to 10 cm] between each, distinct, ovoid pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to elliptic-ovate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the .28 to 1" [.7 to 2.5 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an arching, rather dense, racmose, thickened, densely papillose-hirsute, 4.4 to 8" [11 to 20 cm] long, 35 to 45 flowered inflorescence with 4 bracts and acute floral bracts.
