Found in Papua New Guinea in lower montane forests at elevations around 750 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with many slender, flaccid, pedulous stems giving rise to adnate to the stem, hardly free apex pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-lanceolate or elliptic, thinly coriaceous, subacute, minutely mucronulate leaf that blooms on a fascicled, arising from a thin sheath, short, single flowered inflorescence carrying purple flowers.
