Common Name The Roirama Bulbophyllum [A mountain near the borders of Venezuela and Guyana]
Flower Size .4" [1 cm]
Found in Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana and Bahia State of Brazil on tree trunks at elevations up to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a rhizome with 1" [2.5 cm] between each, yellow green, angular pseudodbulb carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late spring and summer through early spring on a basal, erect, 14.2" [36 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence with the flowers adpressed to the rachis.
Similar to B meridense but dffers in the subquadrate basal lip auricles and the lamina is ovate in the lower part vs ovate basal suricles of the lip, a broadly oblong to elliptic, slightly contracted and subpandurate in the central portion of the lip lamina." Szlatchetko & Kolanowska 2023
