Common Name or Meaning The Rust Red Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .2 or less [5 mm or less]

Found in northeastern Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each, densely sheathed, narrowly ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong or ligulate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, as long as the leaves, to .8" [to 2 cm] long, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence carrying greenish flowers.
