Common Name or Meaning The Rust Red Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .2” or less [5 mm or less]

Found in northeastern Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations of 750 to 1150 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each, densely sheathed, narrowly ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong or ligulate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, as long as the leaves, to .8" [to 2 cm] long, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence carrying greenish flowers.
