Found in Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in lowland forests at elevations around 1000 to 1700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with 3/4" [2 cm] between each, narrowly conical, slightly compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic, acute leaf that gradually narrows into a petiole and blooms in the fall on a basal, 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a flower that droops and does not open well
