Found only in Sumatra in lowlands as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with small globose-conical, ribbed pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, lanceolate, recurved apically, acutely narrowing into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring over a very long period on a basal, 14" [35 cm] long, erect then arcuate, successively single flowered inflorescence carrying an apical, fragrant [not good] fleshy flower with a very moveable, large lip and dangles upside down.
