Found in Leyte the Philippines in forests at elevations around 60 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with crwoded, spindly, terete, erect or ascending pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong leaf that blooms in the spring and early summer on an erect, slender, thread-like, to .8" [2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a few tubular bracts.
